Sundara inaugurated our fifth workshop in Southern India, in partnership with Goa Waste Management Corporation, the Travel & Tourism Association of Goa, Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry and New Dawn Ashadeep Special School. We are so thrilled to open this operation, allowing us to spread our women's employment and hygiene promotion throughout the region.

CONSULTING & COLLABORATING IN RWANDA

Taking time to monitor and evaluate an operation from the bottom up, is key to improving efficiency and is a great driver of success. A HOUSE, A WORKSHOP & ONE GIRL’S DREAM COME TRUE

In 2012, Yogita did something no other woman in her village has ever done: she took on a loan of 60,000 rupees from the bank. With this money, she built a home out of dry stick, cow dung and mud. Today, she welcomes Sundara with open arms into her home - we are proud to now call this home to our second soap recycling workshop in India.

PROVIDING SAFE WATER TO BUKOMPE REFUGEE CAMP

Situated in Uganda, Bukompe Refugee Camp is now the home of 4,000 people from Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They live in 600 houses with thatched roofs, and there are only 10 latrines throughout the camp. The only available water comes from small ponds and dams that are either contaminated or are shared with the cattle, goats, and sheep they raise
