ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS

1.

RISE FELLOWSHIP

Women worldwide have unique and powerful ideas on how to resolve water, sanitation, or hygiene problems, but many lack the resources to bring their solutions to life. Our RISE Fellowship provides mentorship, seed funding and resources to female entrepreneurs living in low to middle income countries. We empower impactful entrepreneurs to build sustainable businesses that make a lasting impact in their communities.

OVERCOME CHALLENGES WITH 1:1 MENTORSHIP

Our team supports entrepreneurs on everything from how to develop a business plan to how to perfect a pitch. Since no two projects or businesses are alike, each of our fellows receives individualized advice. We know female entrepreneurs often struggle to access support - filling that gap is central to our mission.

SPARK GROWTH WITH SEED FUNDING

Many female entrepreneurs lack access to financial resources. We provide our fellows with a portion of the initial financial support they require. This seed funding helps them to develop their business plan into a well-researched, income-generating project that will contribute sustainably to their community for years to come.

LEARN FROM GLOBAL BUSINESS EXPERTS

From business consultants to PR experts and global organizations, our extensive network is full of professionals with valuable advice for new businesses in the water, sanitation, and hygiene field. We connect our entrepreneurs to the experts in our network so that they can benefit from world-class knowledge and support.

2.

EMERGENCY AID

Sometimes communities need access to clean water and basic hygiene services on an urgent basis. With the ongoing global pandemic, this is more true than ever before. Through our Emergency Aid program, we assist communities across the globe who need immediate, short-term relief. We have proudly reached over 900,000 people across The United States, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, India, Rwanda and South Africa.

SHORT TERM SUPPORT FOR URGENT NEEDS:

We provided 1,500 refugees from the Bukompe Refugee Camp in Uganda with ceramic water purifiers, water tanks, and funds to construct two borehole wells

We provided 60 students from a school in Old Odunasi, an rural village in Ghana, with immediate access to sinks and toilets.

We distributed reusable face masks to over 1000 families in India during the first government mandated lockdown in 2020

We distributed bars of soap to over 2800 people in India requiring urgent access to sanitization methods during the initial outbreak of COVID

We provided over 500 people living below the federal poverty line in New York City with critical access to cleaning supplies, hand-soap, toiletries, diapers, and infant formula

We reached over 2800 people from underserved communities in India with emergency food aid packages during the first outbreak of COVID
